Following Jesus

We believe that God created the world and everything in it, including you. Scripture indicates that he desires an ongoing personal relationship with you that begins by trusting in his Son, Jesus Christ, and that relationship develops as you follow Jesus.

Many people believe that Jesus lived, and that he was a good teacher and a very spiritual man, but they deny that he is God. That is not the Jesus of the Bible. We believe the Bible is the sole authority and is God’s story of salvation through Jesus Christ. There are so many facts and evidences that validate the truth of the Scriptures. So who does the Bible say Jesus is?

The Bible clearly teaches us several truths about Jesus and these are imperative to our understanding of salvation and the forgiveness of our sins…

Salvation is received through turning away from our sin (repentance) and turning toward God by asking for and receiving his forgiveness through his only son, Jesus Christ. Faith in Jesus—believing who he says he is and trusting him for the forgiveness of sins—is the sole basis for one’s salvation (John 3:16, Ephesians 2:8-9).

If you have never trusted Jesus Christ as your forgiver and Lord, pray now and tell him in your own words that you believe in him and confess him as Lord.
